Kota Thermal Power StationThis power station is the pioneer in coal based power generating plant in the state of Rajasthan. Located on the left banks of Chambal river, 65 kilometers from the city of Kota, Rajasthan. During 1984, 1987, 1989, 1981 and every year since 1992 onward, Kota Thermal Power Station has maintained a bar of efficiency and has also received meritorious productivity awards from the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India. National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC)NTPC counts amongst the major electricity supplier in Kota and is the largest thermal power plant in the India. It is a public sector organization and came into being in the year 1975 with the purpose of power development in the country.
Rajasthan Atomic Power PlantThe Rajasthan Atomic Power Station is located about 65 km from Kota, near river Chambal.
